Hello We have the Rockwood 2606ws which is the big brother to this just has a theater seat and Dinnett so it's a little longer. We too have to open the slide to get to the bedroom but it only has to go out of foot or so then you're fine. I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. if I didn't want the extra room and had to pull a lighter trailer I would have picked this one. Have a Jesus filled day everyone Greg in Michigan

The 2205s is 2 ft shorter and does not have the wardrobe slide, but it does have an open concept with a similar layout, it has theater seating with the TV and fireplace directly across from it and is 100% usable with the slide closed?

Growing up, my parents always had someone standing outside watching the slide go in and out to make sure it doesn't hit anything or sticks don't get stuck, etc. The ability to use the slides with my phone lets me make sure everything goes right by myself! Great feature.

It's SUPER handy in some situations or when you want to make sure a big FW bed slide closes w/o crushing a drawer or something (but can't see the bedroom from the switch panel)

We just went to the RV place and I knew EXACTLY what we want and they were complimenting me to my mom and husband 😆 And then when we got into the camper...I KNEW MORE then them... End of story: YES! Keep doing the closed slide portion of your videos...We ONLY DRY CAMP and sometimes we don't even open the slide in our current camper

That really pushes all the buttons, I like how Rockwood uses a meduim size TV and adds a fireplace. The bedroom slide helps with storage and there is just so much more. I saw a Mini Lite with big googly eyes on that windshield made it look like it was smiling.

With that solar package accompanying the 12 volt fridge, you can definitely camp off grid. This is my favorite couple’s camper layout, and as you said, it looks even bigger and also has more storage in person! As you have stated many times, it’s just Rockwood doing Rockwood things!

We love our Rockwood mini lite 2509S. It’s built well and is really spacious with the 1 slide. We have the Murphy bed which is awesome. Love the storage in this one!

Yep! On models 26ft and under rockwood is using azdel on both the interior and exterior wall paneling They retain the use of lauan on the larger models for the extra strength it provides.

This model is great! the color is nice, I love the fireplace, and most of all I like where the door is facing! What I'm not a huge fan of is that there is no dinette. I mean It's not that big of deal because your going to be eating outside most of the time, but what would happen if it rains.

Holy cow Josh! When you going to show a Mimi Lite I don't love????? This one is awesome!! The outside skin color would look so good behind my blue Tundra. Every Mini Lite you show is fantastic. What size tires were those? They look great for boondocking. I loved seeing plywood in the pass through roof instead of beaver puke. The storage in this model is fantastic, love the 12V fridge! Would need to have you add a couple of Battleborn Li's and one more 190 watt panel before leaving the lot :) QUESTION: Would the LP quick connect for the grill fuel a dual fuel inverter/gen? I agree that it's always better to store the table inside instead of in the pass-thru storage. The Mini Lite 2513S is VERY similar in design to this model, but with things in a slightly different configuration. The door and fridge are in different spots and it makes for a slightly larger kitchen/counter area. I also like that in that model the entertainment is easier to view from kitchen but is still very viewable from the theater seats...plus it has an outside kitchen. Do you ever stock the Mini Lite 2513S because I can't find any videos from you for that floorplan?

I've got the 2019 version of this trailer. Love it! Our theater seats have a center console that opens up with storage in it and the 120v/usb ports inside it. Ours also has heated butt warmer and back massage. :) We don't have the fireplace, but the pantry is located there and behind the TV is a huge storage place for our Blu-Ray player and a host of other stuff. We also have the regular pull out triple step and our outdoor grill/table setup is on the same bar in front of the water heater, so makes the table more useful when using the grill. Still have not figured out how to move the TV from inside to the outside mount?? As the TV does not have a wedge shaped mount on it? We only paid $27,000 for ours brand new. Not sure what the price for that one cost, but we priced them some at over $35,000 while shopping for ours back in 2019. (yes, I know times have changed since then!) Overall, very good review and entertaining commentary! We figure this will be our "last trailer" and tow it with an F150, so very much 1/2 towable.

This is one of the models for the TV doesn’t easily float outside. Some of the mini lights do that some do not, but they all include that outside TV mount

Uncle Josh, Solely on the basis of you recommendations, I have been looking more closely at Rockwood 5thWs and TTs. They do appear well thought out. However, I much prefer InCommand and Rockwood's One RV command centers. It is possible to option out the Coleman-Mach prehistoric thermostat and command center in favor of the One RV? It is impossible to tell the inside temperature and determine tank levels with the notoriously bad idiot lights. Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Possibly. It's just a jug, some hose, spout, and a 12v pump. Nothing super complicated. The compartment has roughly similar insulation to the cabin above it but isn't specifically insulated

There is NO direct answer to lead times right now based on brand. The only way to have any clue is to to know what specific model you like. Then we can call the factory and get a *really* rough idea. General rule of thumb right now is probably around 3 months, BUT.... Some models are simply not being built right now if they're not among the more popular. So it really depends.

The 190w package is great for giving you some *really* extended use time with a 12v fridge if boondocking. If using a 2-way fridge, then it'll basically keep the batteries topped off pretty consistently when not using the inverter heavily Scan around your RV's power outlets to see which are inverter wired. Rockwood includes a little sticker to let you know which can be powered by the inverter. Usually the inverter switch is located on the "base" of the bed stands. Usually looks like a gray square with circular shaped on/off switch

Hi Josh, Can you give us more details on what exactly you get with the sport wheel /suspension package as this 2511S was ordered with. Such as rim size and manufacturer? Tire size, load rating, and manufacturer? and does this option come with some sort of an upgraded suspension lift different than a standard suspension? With this upgrade will the spare tire be a matching aluminum rim or a steel white wagon wheel rim? How much does this upgrade cost from Rockwood on the Mini Lite? Thanks in advance.

Tires enlarge to a Westlake ST225/75R15 LRE 10ply 2830lb max load at 80PSI (more info on west lake's website available as well). Suspension does have a small lift to help compensate for the larger size to avoid rubbing inside that wheel well. Our sales team can assist with pricing & add'l specifics :)

Do you have any more info on the "sport tire and wheel package"? I am trying to confirm the 2" suspension lift you mentioned along with wheel and tire size. How did you think it made the trailer look? Any downside? E.g. making the first step taller for a small dog?

That's the info. It's a suspension riser kit & the larger Westlake tires just like a Geo Pro. Pros: It increases ground clearance and LOOKS pretty awesome visually Cons: Costs More & Raises center of gravity BARELY which technically affects towing... albeit to the slightest degree. The slightly taller first step is suppose is a factor, but again -- minor.

Slides with fridges have been around for longer than I've been in this business. I don't see it being an issue. Items like seal points are always your lowest common demoninator

Hi Josh, as far as the showers go, which shower would you say feels "roomier"? A radius shower like in the 2506s or a rectangular shower like in this 2511s?

@@JoshtheRVNerd sweet, sounds like i found the future travel trailer for us. 2511s checks all the boxes! The 2506s is nice but the bathroom access in the 2511s is a plus for my wife. With max cargo this RV will top out JUST below your max rating. So I can say mathematically you're safe. What I cannot say is whether or not you'll find towing this one a comfortable experience. It's absolutely AT your max limit I would generally recommend something slightly lighter, but theoretically it IS within your towing capacity. I would still probably recommend against it due to the shorter wheel base of your vehicle as well (which means you'll experience more sway in transit).

At the start of your clip, you filmed under the bottom and it looked like the underbelly was damaged as insulation and wiring was hanging out. Did you correct this before the customer picked up his special order?

*Every* RV with an enclosed belly from a decent brand will display what you're seeing there. It's an expanding spray foam used to seal off any area the underbelly needs to have access points. The wiring is run thru the belly as much as possible for protection and has to pop out to reach the power jacks (which you can see if you trace the wires).

This is very close to a Catalina 241rls with the layout if you move the bath in between the kitchen and bedroom all the way down to the sliding doors except the 241 has a front door to get into the bedroom with the slide in. Nice camper.

The title of this video states now with Azdel, but I didnt hear you go over this. I am looking at ordering a 2506S with a lot of these options, and my dealer didnt mention that Azdel was one of them. Is it that much more thermal efficient? Is it worth the extra cost in cooler and even hotter weather? Love your vids!
