the cool thing is that most people see the 7 Diamond card as the first card. It's the card that stands out the most because there are more than one 7 Diamond card in the deck. Its a trick but everything in this movie is a big trick. And I love this kind of stuff.

Because he put in several copies of the 7 of diamonds. He flips through the deck "too fast" on purpose because no single card will be clearly visible, but the stack of 7's will be and will stick in the viewers' minds. Then he flips through it slowly which gives the illusion of free choice, but the viewer has already seen the 7 of diamonds and will most likely choose it again. "My job? To take...your attention and use it against you."

It’s pretty easy to do Just slide any card in a deck slightly out of placement Then show all the cards thru showing them by flick You know, you hold all the cards then let go and catch them with the other hand where your deck is going? Now show them, then cut the deck at the slightly out of placement and see what’s above it when the deck is back side up Just watch a video on youtube
