im back after 7 months... its nice to use subflow but their is an existing bug that you can only use the last 100 subflow or so (PRB1460383). Also when dealing with array.objects or anything similar their is always a maximum element you can use before encountering 'stock overflow' error.

How to trigger an event from Flow Designer? The event is already created in event registry and i want to trigger the event to trigger an event based notification.

You are going to need to build yourself a custom action. It's not that difficult. There is no "out of the box" action for triggering events. I kind of get why - events aren't the easiest thing to explain to a low/no coder persona who might be building a flow. That shouldn't stop you from building one if you like. :)

HI I have created a subflow and flow in flow designer but when im trying to call the subflow in actions of flow the subflow is not coming up

Sublows are in the subflow menu, not actions. If you don't see it, check to make sure the subflow is published.

Don't take this the wrong way... when there is an option of doing something in code vs. no-code - take the no-code way. It's generally faster to implement and easier to maintain. I hear you, writing code is fun and scratches that itch that "pro developers" have, but don't forget that we're always trying to do things easier/faster. Flow Designer (and many other low/no code ways) are an effective way of doing that. They also reduce the technical debt that's inherent with scripting.
