@@brandonbrown3600 Mother nature can easily destroy straw and wood. It's tougher to destroy concrete/brick. US homes and buildings are made mostly woods on a slap of concrete. Basically when mother nature comes, it's game over on those houses and buildings. Then, we start building the same thing over and over. It's also pricey to look at it too. My mother in law in VN came over to US and admire the beautiful homes. She then realized that all are made out of wood. Expensive it is. Her home is almost 40 years old and it's concrete. Vietnam is like Florida where flood, torrential wind, tsunami and typhoon run every WET seasons. The price of house range from $40k-$200k. All are made mostly of concrete and brick. Barely any wooden post like US. The only place where wood is there is between floor. Otherwise it's concrete.
