I grew up in Weipa 70’s and 80’s and Pennefather was our go to! Back on the day it was pristine and we had the greatest time. I have been back many times, 2022 most recent, and will again but it’s condition saddens me! Hope you enjoyed your time up there as I can see you appreciate the country!

Reef fannings, from a surf store on sale for about $70. Most comfortable and durable things I have found. I hate paying that much but I’ve never had a blow out in 10 years. They last me about 2 years before I change them out. Keep up the good work, your content is great 👍

Loving your travels, but remember the croc that gets you is the one that you got see. The speed of a croc is quicker than you can think, If he sees you as Tucker your gone, That's why is don't like zoos, it's misleading that crocs are slow. Dogs are favourite food for croc , Too many people taken and pets taken over my lifetime, Stay safe , Happy travels ❤🦘🦘🇦🇺

I've love REEF thongs. Geez they cost a bit but I bought them in Broome, went to Arrgyle, did the Gibb, all the hikes, Karajini, and wore them every day all the way through to Adelaide. And they are so comfortable. Eventually I had a blowout, but they're nothing like the pluggers; they last me about 2 or 3 weeks, no matter the brand. (Including A4A).

Mate, i got onto a pair of Reef thongs because i kept blowing out my Havi's. The reefs were about $85 but they have a solid strap between the toes, air support and even a bottle opener.

Love my Croc thongs, never blown them out and have a grippy sole so you don't go arse over tit on wet concrete. Should get yourself a battery operated soldering iron for those electrical repairs, better than connectors.

My husband swears by Croc brand thongs. The toe bit is sealed internally so they dont blow out as quick as the ones that have the toe bit go through the bottom of the sole (if that makes sense) ALWAYS carry spare pairs..... 😉

To get yourself out of trouble with your pluggers, until you upgrade, if you can find a couple of plastic clips off your bread loaf bags, if you can still find them, most are now cardboard, that’ll do the job.
