There were so many lies Amber told (proved by her own admission) that weren’t revealed by Johnny in court. For instance, she was as much of a drug user as Johnny was but her drug use was never mentioned by Johnny. He tried his best to maintain some dignity on her behalf even though she did not deserve this grace he bestowed upon her as he did not want to destroy her, but merely wanted to clear his name. He could have annihilated her completely.

As a survivor of DV, and just as a human being, my heart effing breaks for Johnny. I have so much empathy for him. He literally survived hellish abuse and then his abuser tried to gaslight us all like she did him, and make us believe SHE was the victim. I mean, it’s just unconscionable. Did you hear the gaslighting she was doing to him in that recording?! “You’re not hurt, you’re fine” downplaying his pain and injury? She sounds like a literal psychopath, narcissist, and habitual abuser. And for the record, an actual abuser is never the one trying to get away from the fight; taking blows and not returning them, trying to escape the situation and the other person, and literally running for shelter elsewhere just to avoid more violence inflicted on them. That is NOT an abuser. The way he speaks on it, the way he tentatively yet bravely relays what happened to him, one can tell the horrific and abusive situation, and partner who inflicted it, has caused him much trauma. Trauma and ptsd he is likely still working through to this day. What she did to him is criminal, and it left him permanently scarred- inside and out. I wish to God she could be criminally prosecuted for the unprovoked violence and severe injuries (that required actual surgery) she perpetrated on him. Not to mention the emotional and psychological abuse, especially what she did when his mother passed, all of it definitely on the extreme side of the scale. I hope wherever he is right now, with his children and family I hope, he’s healing, getting healthy and gaining strength. He’s a survivor and I for one stand with Johnny. We should all applaud him for speaking out despite how difficult it must have been for him. Hopefully by speaking out and having the courage to face his abuser, he will help give more people, especially men, the courage to come forward as well.

Seems there was ZERO prep with Johnny before the trial with the lawyer who is asking questions. This is crazy. He should know all the answers to these questions. He should know what she is going to ask him. At the very least she should have gone over dates like when he left to New York, when he was in Europe. He looks like a deer in headlights on some of the things she’s asking. They should go over hearsay and make sure their client understands way before getting on the stand. Same with Ambers lawyers. IMO this is why she didn’t stand out like Camille. Elaine, ambers lawyer really did her a disservice not prepping her too. However, I don’t think Elaine even understood hearsay most the time.

They recorded each other when there was fighting of any kind so it could be played back when things cooled off and actually be faced with the words they used in the fight. Johnny said Amber would deny saying things she had said so he thought this might be helpful for both of them and their relationship. I believe they both went to their marriage therapist who agreed this was a good idea. Problem was Amber became known for recording without informing the other. That is illegal in CA regardless that there was an agreement. Both have to tell the other if they are recording. I believe Amber thought she could “catch”Johnny abusing her in order to demand more money in divorce. That didn’t quite work out the way she had hoped; it showed who the real abuser was and it was clearly NOT Johnny. She recorded other people without their approval too such as their interior designer, Laura D. (Can’t remember her last name). Anyways, that’s why and those recordings showed the world who Amber really is. I’m so happy Johnny had all those audios. In my opinion the audios really buried her.
