@@GroovyFeminist With all due respect, this is a very superficial view of the situation and It seems that you need to know more about the how lawyers work. The trick is not in getting you to answer as in making you agree tacitly on what they’re implying on their question. For example, when Amber's lawyer asks one of the witnesses by saying “you don’t know or witnessed Depp beating his wife”you find the witness answered, “I have never in my life seen him harm anyone.” He could’ve simply answered by saying correct in both cases that would be true, but by his answer he added value to his testimony by implying “harming people is not one of his attributes” because Amber’s lawyer tried to imply that (just because you did not see it does not mean that he did not), which an attempt to make the value of the witness’s testimony weaken or worthless. The examples are many throughout the answers of Depp’s witnesses and it is not as simple as you mentioned

Mr King's testimony made quite a few things evident to me. First the marble bar where Johnny was standing was damaged and broken off. That is how Mr. Depp's hand was injured and the top of the finger severed. As the bottle was thrown, the finger was between the marble where his hand rested and the ex large full vodka bottle that flew across the room. It was a moving missile that his finger encountered. This is how the top of the finger was severed off completely. The glass was shattered below the bar on the floor. There was liquid (vodka) on the floor, indicating the bottle was full when it struck him. As we all know from car accident reenactments, a rapid moving object causes extreme injury based on speed of the object, hence the bottle. When Amber hurled the bottle, the top of his finger was completely removed from the rest of the hand. I think Johnny was still trying to protect Amber and his image by quietly be transported to the hospital for treatment. The severed body part was found by the house person, taken to the hospital and reattached by some miracle. He will later suffer from arthritis and other pain from this injury by Amber. I, myself have had a hand injury that still haunts me with severe arthritic pain forty years later.

Also the MRSA ( which Johnny developed) can be very difficult to treat and is resistant to many antibiotics. It can also lay dormant in your body after it is cured causing it to flare up years later . I unfortunately learned about this when I was getting bloodwork done for an upcoming back surgery. I contracted it during the hospital visit for the bloodwork which delayed my surgery for a month . It presented as a very small red dot on my nose . I hit it while washing my face and I almost passed out from the pain . I went to my dermatologist who successfully treated it .

With him testifying that Amber didn’t want to leave because “it’ll be the end” explains at least partially why she’d go apeshit if Johnny retreated to a place by himself during an argument and why she’d follow him wherever he went. She’s afraid if the person she’s fighting with has time to reflect on their own, they’ll rethink continuing the relationship with her. She wants things to be settled (in her case, meaning the other person concedes) before they spend time apart.
@sheilatrigg84432 жыл бұрын
You COMPLETELY nailed it! Her friends around all the time, not necessarily many of his. That's another sign and brought in a LOT of people that he financially "took care of". Lots of using going on. Not to mention the status of being married to "Johnny Depp", that's also a benefit. It definitely sounds like they are not good for each other, in fact they are the opposite, very toxic together. I think he was pretty stressed out once he realized what position he was really in.
@asiaaaa2 жыл бұрын
Yup, i’m thinking it might go back to early childhood. With children being emotionally abandoned they become obsessed with people leaving them again, putting them in that same vulnerable position as when they were kids. Its called anxious attachment. Johnny on the other hand seems to be avoidant, which makes sense looking at his abusive youth. He might feel that if he opens up, he’ll get hurt again, so he runs away. It becomes a viscous push and pull. You’d hope at that age they would both be smarter and seek help, not burn each other to the ground…

What a gentleman, Mr. King is. I loved the the way he answered questions.

Yeah it's almost as bizarre as the few weirdos in the comments on AH's side. They have no concept of reality at all, ignore the evidence against AH and act like her words are simply all the evidence needed. Scary in a way👀
