...there was a glitch in the GM cruise driverless ride hailing service in San Francisco... over a dozen Cruise Driverless Ride Hailing TAXIS blocked traffic. It happened Teusday night, July 05, on Gough street which the driverless cabs converged on the street, completely blocking all lanes on the street.. as if they were all summoned there for no reason... NHTSA shud already be investigating this, or are they..? i wonder...

They're still planning on going Hydrogen. I was in the main Toyota dealer in Chesterfield UK on another issue with my Yaris hybrid. The new big, BEV is lovely and will go back on sale in UK after the wheel detaching recall but £1600 extra.

Tinted windows are only permitted on the backseat and rear windows here in Kansas, even if your car is from out of state. Even the level of tinting is restricted for the backseat windows.

Dish wanting to use the spectrum has nothing to do with Starlink. WHen Tmobile purchased Sprint Part of the deal was that Dish would be a Telecom porvider. They currently Own AWS4 Spectrum but that alone is not enough spectrum to deploy a 5G network. Dish is trying to utilize any spectrum it can for deploying their Telecom assets . So although this does impact starlink Dish is not targeting them , they just need any spectrum they can get their hands on.

Last year I picked up a 2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime SE Plug-In with the 18.1 kWh, 335 V lithium-ion battery, while waiting for my Cyber Truck. I love it!! I get 42 combined miles on a full charge for daily commute, and switch to gas mode for out of town trips (no range anxiety). Battery will fully charge in 12 hours (7:00 pm to 7:00 am) using stock 120 Volt charger, or 4.5 hours using 240 Volt, 16 Amp L2 charger. Received $7500 Tax credit when I filed 2021 Tax return. Toyota should have made more of these.

I invested in them a while back because I think their basic principles foundation is sound. I suggested having a rear window solar panel which retracts when driving if desired to maintain rear visibility (without need for a rear view camera, and the "solar cell shade" pulled down when parked for charging. They liked the idea.

Just what we need other EVs at the Tesla Stations. We just had reports about waiting in line for 30 -45 minutes to get to a charger in Florida and I've waited in line in L.A. for 30 minutes so many times that I've decided to get back into by Mod 3 at 10 PM to go to charge! Buy a Tesla and get the Best car and Charging network. Buy a Aptera and go to E.A. to charge with the other non-Tesla makes. Michael

I just wanted to point out regarding the supercharger review in Orlando (Universal & Sand Lake - v2) that there is a v3 supercharger just a mile away on Sand Lake Road just on the other side of I-4. Additionally, they just opened a new v3 supercharger a few miles up on I-4 near the Millenia Mall. Tesla just submitted for a permit to build a v3 supercharger a few miles down the other way on Sand Lake at the Florida Mall - that will make 3 on that road alone. I counted 13 superchargers currently open in the Orlando area, with several more in permit or construction status. I have actually been to the supercharger she is referring - it can get busy - but I haven't been back since the other options became available. Considering the size of Orlando, we're doing better than most locations.

@@WillowMint Oddly enough, the navigation system seems to favor the older chargers (v2) for some reason when a v3 is available nearby or perhaps that is just perception. Anyway, I often find myself manually checking the superchargers on the map and selecting it as my destination rather than accepting the default for any route. Go figure. Seems like the AI for navigation still needs some work.

I hope Zac can talk about the differences between Portugal and the rest of Europe in regard to Tesla and charging. Tesla can’t open new Charging Stations in Portugal unless they’re connected to the government charging system. They created a public charging system so that no matter what company you have a contract to charge your car, you can charge in any station even from another company, like ATM machines - your card works in other Bank’s ATM machines. But in reality this public charging is only for paying huge government fees and taxes.
