zr1 made 375hp later to 405hp in '93 so not all corvette were 300hp.

Arayig1982 true but I was speaking mainly of the standard corvette as the Zr1 only represented about 5% of corvette sales and dealers were having a hard time selling them due to their high cost.

He was talking about regular corvettes as a general comparison. The Viper also had a lower original MSRP compared to the ZR1, was better looking, more exotic and an overall better performer as well. If anything, the ZR1 just made the Viper look even better when they were compared.

they shouldnt get rid of the viper ....WHY... love ,love,love the viper .something to think about if they made the demon with 800hp why not put that engin in the viper and call it the DEMONOUS EDITION VIPER .now that would be sick

Agreed...if they bring the viper back and its format is not a raw V10 manual trans, dont bother. It will offend the viper purists and will not sell well.

Thanks for another excellent review 👍🏻🇺🇸 when I first got my 98 GTS I had a Viper vendor tell me that Corvette makes more examples in any one year than Viper did in 25 years all together
