I do love Emma Ruth Rundle, her work with Thou was good but not as much my thing as her earlier stuff. "I wear the colours of Babylon" is such an interesting line, I have no idea what colours those are or why you'd wear them, but it sure sounds cool

Sharon Van Etten has almost 1.5 million, Amanda Shires and Angel Olsen in the high 700k range, Bedouine 548k. People who write about music professionally might be fans, but not a tonne of more casual fans seem to be, on one app at least

I don't think I have heard anyone put so much of their heart and inner feelings and turmoil into their work, lyrics and performance since Joni Mitchell wrote the Album 'Blue'. Thank you for letting us in, to listen too the whispers your personal echo chamber. Chelsea is truly an alchemist, turning such a basic and minimalist approach into something complex and precious. PS, I'm just having to play this for the third time in a row. The more times I watch/listen to this performance, the deeper and deeper it gets under the skin, to the heart, the mind and the soul. highly recommend Unknown Rooms and Birth of Violence. They’re both folksy like these renditions of these songs. Everything else ranges from electronic to doom metal to trip hop. She has an incredible amount of variety in her discography
