The 70 year-old guy in San Francisco. These guys are "crazy-good". First heard them on Tiny Desk and the saw them, live, at Freight & Salvage in Berkley. They are consistently joyful. Saw them live in 2019 a few days after their (most recent) KEXP gig was recorded. Absolutely magical. I will love this band until I am in the grave. Incredible, deep and impressive talent. Chilling yet warming harmonies. And if they do not enjoy every second of every minute they play... You would never know it. Their joy brings me joy. I yearn to hear them. I yearn to see them.

I 'discovered' (personally) DakhaBrakha 4 or 5 years ago. I fell in love with your voices, your instruments, your joy. So unlike anything else I'd heard. TOO GOOD! THEY be JAMMIN'! Love them! :-) They incorporate/blend (authentically, genuinely, seemlessly) so may genres & cultural influences (from all over the world) along with their own unique thing and then interestingly enough they also have some kinda like Old Skool AND New Skool type Vibe going on ; I swear, just Awesome!!! And it is just as wonderful WATCHING them perform as it is actually HEARING THEM

Thankyou Dakha Brakha your songs warm my heart and provide such joy. I am the daughter of a Ukrainian father and was born in UK. Your music is a long way from the sadok vishnevi of my childhood but has the same roots of ukranian life. Your amazing music is played with such imagination and talent while still retaining the roots of the polyphonic tradition is truly inspiring inspiring.
