Now that John Prine is gone I really can't argue with your statement about Jason's songwriting skills. That Amanda is also an exceptionally powerful, wonderful, and honest songwriter just makes their union an even bigger blessing to us than their individual talents alone. With the depth of the joys and sorrows they write and sing of, it is difficult to remember they are still quite young (he will be 42 in February, 2021, she will turn 39 on 5 March, 2021). With any luck our world will be graced by their musical talents long after I'm gone and forgotten.
