EVAN preciate the content you put out took my NREMT this morning 120 questions. Mannnnnn you should’ve seen my face when I walked out that bihhh I was so distraught. I was looking so sad.I sat in my car 10 mins before I drove off shaking my head. I made it back to my city went by sonic got some food went to my girl house vented about how some questions were worded and went to sleep around 2 woke up around 5 some check my emails ran across the NREMT email that said “congratulations” I said stop playing wit me I checked my account and it was true big dog I passed. Wheeeeew what a relief off my shoulders

I got a 937 last time i took my nremt. I take it again tuesday aug 15th wish me luck. I used the paramedic coach program and i can recommend this program. I tested myself using the LIMMER NREMT PASS test that is supposedly harder than the nremt. This program is simple and to the point.

It must of changed recently, I was only able to aquire a numeric system and I got a pretty bad score, it was an 822, I didn't think it was horrible because im coming back to try and become an EMT 5 and a half months after schooling. But i was really hoping that I would get that sheet of passing on certain catagories. I did try to mentally keep track of what i'm not confident in to study. So hopfully its just the few things i was sturggling with

Lowering the standards and taking away any skills assessment is going to lead to less capable providers on the streets. The desperation to get people into schools to continue paying for certifications is driving this has nothing to do with patient outcomes or anything to do with patient care.

Instructors should be doing skill assessments throughout the entire program. As an instructor; if I verify a student to test NREMT, I am verifying that student has completed all necessary components to meet NREMT criteria to test.

Hey man I've been studying for NREMT and watching your videos but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on getting certified and onto the field because I worry about the possibility of infectious diseases like bloodborne pathogens. In your experience is it a common problem in the field or do the proper safety precautions keep people safe? I can find all kinds of statistics on sprains or other injuries but I can't seem to find much about how many medics actually catch diseases on the job. Edit: To clarify I don't really care about catching a cold here or there or stuff like that. It's the more serious stuff I worry about and I can't find much info on it. Even if you only have anecdotal evidence I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.

What if it doesn’t show you a score because I just took one for EMT level and it did not provide me with a score. Granted the first time I did take one I was 60 points off of passing. I got 890 and you need 970 and this time I took it got nothing no feedback no response, no score, so what do I do in that case? I would love for somebody to give me an answer to that.

Correct but only at the EMT level. Your classroom is instructor is now responsible at the EMT level for practical skill evaluations. AEMT/Paramedics still have skills testing but is more concise.

Yes you do if you fail the Paramedic exam three times, you take an online refresher course and submit to them.

Each question is 12.5 points if you do all 120 questions. I got 939 in my test. I'll be retaking it soon, studying the hell out of EMS Operation since it said I lacked a lot on that subject.
