Just to further my previous comment - a great starting point would be watching and recording the full State of Origin II live. WatchNRL should let you do it in the US.

Lastly, I think you should really view it as a long-term strategy. The NRL is really pushing to expand into the international market, and so getting in really early like you are and getting super knowledgeable about the game could position you as an authoritative voice when Rugby League becomes better known in the US.

I love your content mate, though I feel you're holding yourself back a bit by only watching the highlights at this point. It feels like you've got a pretty good feel for the game now, but I really think to take it to the next level and really understand the arm wrestle that is rugby league you need to start to watch full games. Even once a week, it would be good for you to record your live reaction and then edit it down to maybe a 10-20 minute video. This way the big moments are more impactful as you can see what's gone into the build-up. You'll also get better at tipping as you'll get to understand each team's play style and so you'll be able to better guess how each team will play against each other, and so make an educated guess for whose play style will trump the other. That said, love the content!

Sharks are seen as pretenders and the Bulldogs are potential pretenders. They need to start beating the top sides and it starts here. If they lose here they may struggle to make the finals. Not sold on the Sharks just yet. Bulldogs have Crichton back from Origin and will make a big difference to the side. Bulldogs 1-12 When Johnson plays, Warriors struggle to win. When they had those 3 good wins a row, Martin was the halfback and Johnson is out injured again. Broncos are desperate after 3 straight losses, but so are the Warriors after their embarrassment against the Titans. I'm backing the Warriors to bounce back. Warriors 1-12 Eels will be keen to get off the bottom. Moses will be back and after his performance for NSW, that form will carry on into this game. Eels 1-12 Raiders were beaten up by the Tigers and the Storm will be too good for them. Storm are hard to beat at home, so Storm 13+ Don't have much to say about this match-up. Dolphins are a good football team and expect them to win. Dolphins 1-12 Panthers are hard to beat at home. Thats all I got to say. Panthers 1-12 Tigers had an amazing win last week, but the Roosters will bring them back to earth. Roosters 13+.
