If players only played for the country they were born RTS would probably be the only player for Toa Samoa They are growing the game MMT brings in so many supporters & now Samoa has a large fan base If league goes back to how it was then only Aus Nz Eng will exist

9:09 tonga and samoa will never be tier 1's because to be deemed tier 1 you need a rugby league pathway in said countries dont see that anytime soon

Fletch is the best. Dropped a cable in ur lake. Yeah. I'm for jnr clubs repping origin then being able to play for birth. S.b.w playing for nsw would have been great. Benji for qld. They may be taking the spot of legit origin players, but the game has evolved too much. It's a different beast now

Australia worry more about the origin series than international games. International games should be around the same time as origin tuff s*** if the origin stars don't get much of a break it's no reason for the nrl to punish other country's player's.

Yep, there’s injuries. But this Kangaroo team seems mix n match. A Kangaroo is a player that has had longevity at another level. They go up gears, consistently. Hunt is there for that reasoning. I would have played Daly, his experience and ability to go to another level for his country is proven. Tedesco the same. It’s a steadying factor. Old heads to name a few. This team especially the backline, seems all one out. It will be interesting to see what sort of TEAM cohesion is displayed.

Yeah you're right and they can both only select 17 so there would be dozens of "Aussies" and "Kiwis" missing out on a game while the developing nations would be struggling for numbers

1 Lindsay Smith is a big prop he's got absolutely nothing in regards to the skills required to play a Yeo type role. Not even close lol that's a giggle respectfully 2 Jakey in Origin was without a question never going to be captain. I guarantee Cleary & Murray were the first choices and preferred captains and Mag was forced to go with a big culture guy that's respected and loved on his way out to lead. There's a reason Jakey barley played any minutes Cam Murray & Cleary will captain the state for years to come starting 2025 barring injury

Bring back tests in July like its 1986 haha make S.O.O the selection Naming the Aus team after the game and make July a break and have Tests like the have even tours mid year again England etc f..kn great memories of when Rugby league was made of gold hahaha

Then get rid of international rugby league. So origin is the pinnacle. Who cares about England, NZ , Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga.
