YEARS AGO PENRITH WERE LAUGHED AT for investing everything into they're junior pathways programs and were laughed at for ignoring the norm, they were told they needed to buy marquee players, you can't grow them consistently 😂😂😂 now they're playing in they're 5 CONSECUTIVE grand final and about to have a 2020 rematch... and keep in mind penrith have lost 21 players since then😂😂😂 they've lost over 30 players since 2019, boast some of the beat players in the world, built from the ground up! Rep stars, premiership winners etc.... there isn't a rugby league club on the planet this dominant.

The ref did all he could to keep the sharks in the game, 2 should’ve been sin bins, a disallowed Penrith try which then lead to a sharks try and a massive knock on right on the sharks try line called as play on, absolute joke.

Congratulations Panthers! Fifth straight Grand Final and a chance to make it a fourth straight premiership, against the Storm who were the last team to defeat them in a Grand Final in 2020. They were not exactly at their best in attack, but defensively this was another stellar performance. Sharks bravely held on for most of the game, but got ran over late. Start the party, Panthers fans! Another big dance awaits.

Ashley Klein has to be the worst ref in the NRL. Did everything he could to keep Cronulla in the game, but you can't out class the Panthers. They are simply just to good. The Grand Final is gonna be amazing to watch.

Sharkies played better than I thought they would but they made way too many unforced errors low in the tackle count. Nicho made too many wrong calls, pushing passes. Penrith are in another league along with the Storm. It’s ridiculous NAS is facing 3-4 weeks for that opening tackle last night, seriously a penalty was enough he shouldn’t have even been sin binned…but that’s 2024 Rugba league

It’s just not possible to have a 2m tall man not make contact with the head from time to time, and unless there was obvious intent or it was reckless a penalty is enough, or if a penalty and sin bin then definitely no suspension unless it was obviously reckless…but I’m a “traditionalist”

@@ronanrogers4127 biggest issue with NAS is his priors, repeat offenders have a lower threshold when it comes to the judiciary, sad but true. I do get what you mean in terms of the blokes height and how practical it is for him to lower his target when he’s 2m tall ahaha but it is the way the games moving. I said this 2 years ago, but if Rugby league follows rugby unions lead in terms of officiating ? it will be the end of the game. Rugby Union is full of blokes bigger than NAS, all expected to somehow lower their target in split second scenarios at spend .. it’s ridiculous, but that’s how things seem to be trending for rugby league as well.

Not a Penrith supporter but Klein is an absolute disgrace of a referee. He tried his absolute hardest to keep the Sharts in the game. These days when you sneeze too loudly you're sin binned without hesitation but a blatant trip and a very late hit are not. He will ruin what will be a great GF if he is picked.

The refs and bunker should be investigated for corruption. This bias ,.ie., trip...not binned or sent off, barging into a player without the ball, late hit on Jerome and spilled ball for a Cronulla try are indicators these officials are unfit to decide the GF. IC is right to be worried about the GF as Melbourne will exploit all they can with the support of the match officials.

Don't be so harsh he almost scored off that grubber. He just had a horrible attempt and cost sharks a 7 tackle set. Actually. The whole game he had a trick play pretending to go long but instead passing it short to his forwards. Applying the pressure on his own team for hospital passes. He truly is one of a kind don't see this from other half backs

why cant the players that are retiring be given jobs in the bunker. 3 ex players from 3 different teams and they all vote on a decision best of three votes is the result. it wouldn't take any extra time than the bunker does now and you get players that know the rules and interpretations making judgement it works in jury in courts why not nrl games. you don't see the same thing happening in other codes every game
