I still believe losing to a team with 2 men off the field is far worse than losing from a big margin. You guys are basically the Sharks/Cowboys of 2022. You’ll get out in straight sets. This is just one of those years where everything went your way and you had an easy draw, look at your last 6 weeks you played all the bottom teams you guys aren’t battle hardened as the other top 4 teams, you’ll be easy pickings. This is the first year in more than a decade where the Warriors have been relevant.

That tackle was just as much Katoa's fault. He shouldn't of tucked his head and curled up and he probably wouldn't of landed on his head

I can't remember the teams or the player, but a couple of years ago I saw a blatant attempt by a tackled player, to wriggle himself awkwardly in a tackle - and effectively threw himself head first to the ground. It was blatantly obvious what he was trying to do. The ref didn't buy it, but I remember thinking - uh oh - I'd hate to see players milking spear tackles now.

If a player lands on his head after the tackler tackles him beyond the horizontal, the tackler gets sent off no questions asked. This idea that because he tucked its his fault does not matter, the tackler failed to control their tackle and will be sent off. Players tuck in union constantly and they are capable of controlling their tackles, no exception for league.

That was a FAR more vertical tackle than e.g. Alex McKinnon one where he deliberately tucked his head to make it look worse than it was. Cameron Smith did point that out to the referee at the time. This one however was a genuine spear tackle. Unnecessary and dangerous.
