Noelene Taurua has set a high fitness bar for the Silver Ferns - and it shows. And she was quite blunt in dropping players who didn't make the grade. The Kiwi Ferns need the same. They have the talent. But some of the fitness looked appalling.

Expected a much bigger margin from the Jillaroos- They had a couple of games against PNG to get their combinations etc right , before playing the Kiwi Ferns... Kiwi Girls never got to have a hit out, maybe things may have been different if they did..But in saying that - The Aussie Girls are a class act , and the Kiwi s defended their line well..Kiwis need to pass the ball around more,and stop running the ball one up every time- Follow up the kick on the last tackle at speed and put more pressure on the opposition..This is not the same team that beat the Aussies last time out- lot of new players have been named in this team..

Thats why its hard for me to support our mens and womans league teams plus the Wahs they do more losing than anything else very frustrating to watch whilst our other sports sides win regualarly you would have to be a mug or a diehard league fan to keep supporting sides that lose all the time.
