None of those three people who had to stand up in front of Judge Judy in this video presented themselves appropriately, in my opinion. The defendant-couple were both dressed like they didn't care about their case at all, and the wife's hair color was glaringly unnatural. I love the color pink for clothing, flowers, a girl's bedroom wall, etc., but not for hair, for heaven's sake! The plaintiff, at least, made an effort to look decent; her black dress was lovely but too revealing, like she was going to a cocktail party. It seems that inappropriate dress is becoming more of an issue in U.S. courts today, especially among young people who supposedly think they are invincible.

These two are highly immature for being not only adults, but parents as well. They are still stuck in the rebellious stage of life that most of us leave in the past.

JJ has a point here. There's a time and place for everything, when you need to be real in front of your kids, do so. When you're in a courtroom, that's not the time and place to be advertising that beer equals fun.........there's other places where that's ok to do Btw, it doesn't take much effort to at least put on something decent for a courtroom

Why not? If she's so fair and just, you should be glad to go on her show.

When I was in the custody battle of my life, I appeared every day at court the way I did when I went to work selling real estate. I’m not vain, I just always did my best with what God gave me, which meant showering, doing my face and hair and wearing appropriate business clothes and classy high heels - not _fuck me_ shoes. My ex wore jeans and a t-shirt. I never interrupted the judge or showed inappropriate emotion or behaviour, but was stable and respectful. I got full and complete custody.

Yea, that's what it takes for alot of jobs , or court ......but by saying "f""" me shoes , are you insinuating that a woman wearing them is a whore or asking any guy to have sex with !??? That's just sexist , and so outdated !!!! I didn't notice this lady shoes in court , but what's that gotta do with Sex??? How come MEN don't this same unfair , demeaning judgement !??? Its just shoes ......we all wear on our feet !!! As far as how they acted and that dumb shirt he was wearing , and her pink hair ......that was all very noticeable !!!

@@helaberger4018 The notorious _Alot_ is a two-headed, mythological, purple-coloured creature. Naw. Just wanted you to see purple when you write _alot,_ cause there’s no such word. _A lot_ means a considerable amount or many. _A lot_ of children are in that class. _Allot_ means to give or apportion something to someone as a share or task. _I’m going to allot part of my inheritance for your education._ Be sexy. Learn to spell. ✌️ As for me saying I didn’t wear _fuck me_ shoes to court, wtf is _your_ problem??? Neither did I wear a mini skirt barely covering my ass. There’s a time and place for everything. I created Canada’s first Women Studies Department, York University, Glendon College, together with Prof Gail Brandt, 1976-1980, so you lecturing me about women’s rights is pretty hilarious. Everyone in my family has been a civil activist going back generations.

@@The_Black_Anarchist What a ridiculous nonsensical thing for the OP to post. So she’s saying the driving reason she got custody was because in her eyes the guy looked unhinged or unkempt? Not because of you know ability to nurture a kid, salary?

There is nothing wrong with colored hair (or a ridiculously ugly haircut) BUT there is a time and place to be "real" and a time and place to be professional and an adult. They give those who live an alternative lifestyle a bad name.

I'm sure these people are in the wrong, but I couldn't help but agree when she said that she doesn't love the judge which is why she didn't dress up for the court sesh. As for why they showed up, it's being filmed like who wouldn't want that clout.

But when you go to a job interview you also dont dress like that right?
