the reason of the buddy battle its short is because in the dramatic battle of street fighter zero you only with the bad guys like adon,sagat,vega,gouki,etc

You DO realise you can press left to skip straight from Colour 1 to Colour 10 (or Colour 11 if you have a custom colour setup for that character), right? Also, I don't know about you, but I was rather alarmed at how much damage Shin Akuma's Shakunetsu Hadoken dishes out. (Seriously, it deals more damage than most Supers, despite _not_ being a Super Move itself.)
