I missed the old Sou,NW,Conrail,Seaboard, and Chessie Units. Before both CSX, and Norfolk Southern.

@DJGENEX71 Glad you enjoyed it, Gene!! Yeah, the SD60's were about 4 years old or so then. The 2768 was a GP38, not sure if it was rebuilt to one of the 5600-series GP38-2 rebuilds or sold by NS. I miss the tuxedo a lot too!!

Southern had a derrick at Spencer back in the day.

@Barricade360 Those units were classified by Southern & GE as a B30-7A1.

How old were the SD60's at this time Greg? They must have re-numbered that GP38-2 2768 is now a SD70M-2. I sure do miss the black and white tux!!! Thanks for sharing the piece of history!!!

A B30-7 would have a 16 Cyl where the B30-7A1 would have a 12
