Great Slide Show!! I just got GL0374, Bronze. I'm the type to keep the Bronze color as new as possible. I keep mine in a Ziplock bag with a 3M Tab to keep from tarnishing. But then again I haven't worn it yet.

Just ordered a GL0265 and can’t wait to get and see how it changes over time. Great video!

beautiful mate. got me the oris 80th anniversary in bronze half a year ago. looks very familiar. same blotches and irregularities, tiny specks of coppersulphate. and by god no forcing of the patina.

cheers - that bronze oris was brilliant and I really wanted one but the glycine was such a steal. I think the oris will be available for a while though so I suspect I'll pick one up one day.

@@PeteMcConvill Yep, no limitations my AD told me. And the green dial, a colour LeCorbusier chose, and the 4, and the red pointer date. I still love it, and a resonable price.

Thanks for this video, mate. Just ordered one from Drop but will have to wait until July for shipping. It’s got the brown dial and looks like they chose different indices as well. I am a fan of natural patina that’s unique to you, and appreciate you showing that. I carry a copper flashlight and it has grown a lot of character over the last 6 months

I think it oxidizes less near the wrist because that area is protected by oils from your skin.

I have bought 3 or 4 different Gylcine Models over recents weeks of DROP in 44, 46 & 48 nut I have a 7.5" wrist on my right hand & close to an 8" wrist on my left wrist, YES weird I know, but it does change by .25" but downwards but that make my sweet spot a 43-45mm watch.

I've got a similar - but smaller variation. As a lefty I wear my watch on my right wrist. A serious dog attack has left some scarring on the outside and the hardware from a bike crash on the inside makes that wrist about .25-.4 inch fatter than the left. My sweet spot is about the same, fraction smaller 42-44. Although some of my vintage peices are obvious a lot smaller. I enjoy the 48 BUT its silly and I know it.

#242 I have the same sub, on the orig blue canvas/leather strap. On of my 3 Glycine's, airman , sub and chrono. Green is verdigris, vinegar will bring it back to original.

Interesting review of this watch. I want to get a bronze combat sub when they release the vintage collection in October 2019. You have a new subscriber!

How are you finding that strap? It looks good.. Tried any others?

Hey, I kinda like it but cant say I love it. Love the material and the colour matches the patined bronze except its 24mm and got zero tape so its a massive wad of canvas. I keep meaning to try something else but I have so few 24mm options I keep putting it off.
