With Infinity War coming soon, I knew I wanted to do something big for it, and seeing as I've already done all of the Marvel songs I decided to do this medley to track the journey of the soundtracks from the beginning of the MCU 10 years ago.
You'd think it'd be an easy task to make this medley because I already had the songs recorded, right? Nope. I had to go back and rerecord everything again and make sure that the transitions between songs worked so I had to change some parts. The mixing and mastering process was like a mini version of the process I went through while doing my Marvel album last year, I had to tweak each song individually and make sure everything worked well together but I'm very happy with how it turned out.
I noticed over the last few weeks that my songs were lacking something, I couldn't figure it out for a while, but eventually I realised that I was being scared of the extreme frequencies, so the sub-bass (less than 100Hz) and the high treble (10kHz+). I was afraid of making the songs too bass-y or too screechy so I basically just EQ'd out most of those frequencies which left it sounding a bit flat to me. So any aspiring musicians out there, don't be afraid of the sub bass or treble, they're there for a reason!

I was only 3 when Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk Came out its been a fun ride growing up with the MCU. Im currently going through all of them each day leading up to infinity war, Im going by the timeline instead of order of release. I started on the 10th with Iron Man. I did Iron Man 2 the next day The Incredible Hulk after that, I had something going on the next day, so today I did the Iron Man 2 Game because it tells a different story and I personally think its canon then Thor then Avengers and then Iron Man 3 Today next is Thor The Dark World.

Listening to them here, I feel that most, if not all Marvel themes, are fantastic.The problem is that they do not capitalize on them as much, and even in the movie itself they're often completely overshadowed by the scenes instead of being a component that elevates them. I think Marvel has realized this mistake and tried to fix it in Phase 3, since GotG Vol.2, Doctor Strange, Thor Ragnarok, Spider-Man Homecoming and Black Panther all had a great emphasis on the soundtracks which I feel worked really well. Before Phase 3 the only times they really ever highlighted the soundtracks was in the first Iron Man, Avengers and in GotG. Fantastic Medley, by the way!

Sean Wilson Lol well I'm sure Hulk's hair is stronger than normal, but I think it is possible to cut it. After all, he had longer hair in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and shorter hair in Thor: Ragnarok, and he supposedly stayed in Hulk form the entire time. Therefore, I think HULK's hair can be cut!

Jordan Nelson exactly. as much as everyone hates Zack Snyder the man kept consistency in his character’s themes and music. this is shown in BvS and MoS and then even in Wonder Woman which was a different director, Patty Jenkins realized “hey, this is now the defining theme of this character in this universe, i shouldn’t mess it up”. Inconsistency across different movies due to different directors is honestly one of The biggest problems across the MCU and the soundtrack for each character suffers from this largely, like Iron Man 1? Great theme. But it hasn’t been played once in the MCU since that movie

Man ten years of the MCU have culminated in this. Now it is time we part with many characters we have spent the past ten years growing to love and watch grow (Iron Man and Cap especially). But in that same time we’ve met new heroes take up the fight who have only just begun their mission and still have more adventures to continue (Spider-Man, The Guardians, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, etc). Things aren’t gonna be the same after Infinity War and Avengers 4 that’s for sure but I look forward to it. The MCU is a phenomenon that’ll never die and I look forward to the new movies and tv show that will emerge. But most importantly I’m excited to watch my heroes kick ass like they always do!!! I am legit crying after watching this. I was 3 when the Iron Man came out and was around 7 when I saw Iron Man 3. The action, characters, and plot is what attracted me to Marvel in the first place. Thanks for the AMAZING music piece with all the MCU films in it!
