It's coming. I hope they can get some more locals too, but I see that the bands in the region are hurting. Alot of the high school bands are small. Have to push Music Education in Hampton Roads heavily and get it back to the glory days for all High schools in the 757 no matter the style.

@@burdrchitect1680 true , I went to Salem Highschool in Virginia Beach and it was the performing arts Academy but it wasn’t really centered around the Marching Band per se

@mymylauren Yeah I'm a graduate of Landstown. Many Landstown members went and marched at NSU back in the good ole days '06-'09. It's crazy that Salem doesn't focus on all areas of Performing Arts, including Band. I remember when that added that academy hoping Salem's marching band program would grow and be good again like they were in the 90s. Anyway we have to make band great again in Hampton Roads. Too much talent not to be passed down.

@@burdrchitect1680 yeah I went from 2016 to 2020 and I think the difference is that a lot Highschool bands are more centered around performing at Football games and other sporting events and halftime shows rather then strictly entertainment purposes , you also have to take into consideration like HBCU Marching Bands are more centered around entertainment and combining dancing and playing vs just strictly Marching and playing if that makes sense .
