I was born in 1962 so can just about remember the old town great to see photos of how it used to be .

Interesting video and it must have taken a lot of effort to get the information/locations now, thanks for uploading. It is shame to see the old pubs and houses gone, a little updating for modern convenience was all that would have been needed and be sympathetic.

Work there as a subcontractor for the 1984 revamp of the main hot strip mill, and as a trainee engineer in 1975. Nice place, even better when Wales won the rugby.

always find it astonshing that 3 actors ,each of which could be argued where the best in the world at there time, came from port Tolbert and the surrounding areas . Rob Brydon is actually a very good actor to and better than some give him credit ,but up not to the other threes level ,yet .
