The reason JT gone solo is coz he wants the FAME. It was supposed to be a 6month hiatus, and wasn't upfront to the guys that he wasn't coming back. JC released his own music as a side project for the hiatus. Then Jive went on shit on him by not giving support. Their manager, Johnny Wright, didn't want to manage him coz it a 'conflict of interest' with him managing JT so he had to scramble and find a new management. There's a lot of good songs from Schizophrenic but guess what Jive released as a single? JC even have to pay for 'Some Girls' video expense, some venues, and the band he have on performances. A lot of venues are cancelled coz Jive didn't want to shell money for his promotion. And the Pro Bowl performance, gaah, coz of JT he didn't get the stage. He was also gonna have a second album but Jive shelved it, it was actually good, you should research here in YT. Now JC is tired of the industry politics he have to to through his solo phase, he went back to where his heart is, making music in the studio. So that's what he's been doing this past decade till now. Wrote songs with Kpop, Jpop artists, ghostwrites for some, and mentors new talents. He likes his privacy, he's really a nice guy coz u won't hear anyone saying anything bad abt him. He's lowkey, doesn't want constant attention on him to be relevant. He's not in a 'bad mood' just because he doesn't crave attention. Just wish he'd release a song or two every once in a while coz man, the talent this man have.
