I can definitely see, that this would probably be the most frustrating to be a fan for in real life. One week they are dominate in every factor, lethal players, then the next week, they make the weirdest calls, play terribly, or just switching players for whatever reason

The story of why the Aviators only used FB dive and no O line. The coach was getting a lot if sht for drafting a FB 3rd round but he had faith in his rookie. So he told the reporters "this guy is so good we can with by just running him all game" . That created a lot of sparks but it wasn't enough to silence the haters so he said, we will do it without our starting line too.
