Yes you are right. But Leanne had the most devoted parents any kid with talent could ever dream of. Imagine if poor Susan Boyle had a decent family. More needs to be done to give talented kids with disabilities the careers they deserve. They are far more grateful than the rest.

@liveyourlifeextra4576 yep! Her family made her preform when she was sick, running fever, she did more shows as a child than most adults. She did an interview about her parents abuse/exploitation. I think that is why she married her first husband, just to break away. I also believe that is why now she just does what she wants, smaller venues, for the love of the music.

I’m saw her years ago in a bar in southeast Oklahoma. Her parents were at the table next to us. I asked my friends at the table who let that little girl in here. Then she went up on stage. When I heard her voice, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. She was amazing! I said then that she was going places.

Probably the most "famous" female country singer of her time but definitely NOT the "best." Nowhere near it. Her voice couldn't blow you away like some of the other phenomenal voices out there in country music could. She was a great singer and popular with mainstream country music at the time but to say she was the best is an overstatement knowing the talent out there that easily surpassed Patsy Cline.

I can see your point with Levi (RIP), as I think he had better "Stage Presence"... however, personally I felt more "power" in LeAnn's voice... which she certainly still possesses, and she is still just as humble "today" as she was back then... she never was one for dancing and moving around all over the stage... she just humbly and powerfully sings her songs, with perfect pitch, voice control & from "her heart"... as she always has.
