Hello everyone,
Take a look at this Candy Cigar Restoration project. It's a great example of how to restore and revive a vintage story with old tools and techniques.
As you can see, this project required a lot of restoration work. In this video, I'll show you how I repairedand fully refurbished this candy roller. After the restoration, I of course tested the finished product.
Thanks for watching!
If you're interested in restoration or want to learn more about how to restore old tools then this is the video for you!

Respekt!

@25:12 On the off chance this hasn’t been mentioned yet, there is stabilizing resin (sometimes called cactus juice) that doesn’t require you to sand a whole bunch of resin off. You put the wood in the resin, use the vacuum, and then remove the wood and bake it. Fantastic job once again!

the cigars look more like small loaves of bread with a flat end to them 8:54 "i will not make it smooth. it shouldn't look like it's ordered on wish and entirely made out of plastic in reality" i like this way of looking at restorations

Wow! Wow! That was an incredibly well done project and was your best video so far! The time lapse was cool to watch. Lots of little interesting ways of doing things too. Fantastic video, sir. 👏

Don't drink and restore !! 😂 I really enjoyed watching the restoration as it was the first time I had yours in line, I don't usually like some people who are not really re-lifing the item at hand but just cleaning and getting it going, but you like the others I like make it awesome enough to be kept in a glass container and admired, thanks for it and keep on restoring more, bye. 🌹
