Fantastic contribution you have made here Mr. Free Beat. Smart use of a streamlined gear setup. More interesting that some tracks out there boasting thousands in equipment and crazy signal/routing chains. All my best Eric

I swear that the PO/NTS combo is the most fun you can have in a 15min improv jam. Such cool music!

It's a pretty sweet combination, the NTS-1 is just so versatile!

So would it be possible to record verses and vocode them to send to a daw as an added vocal audio effect?

I don't have PO-35 but I love what I've heard, The formants, I think that's what they're called sound surprisingly amazing. It's on my "to buy list" which pretty long, lol...Pocket Operators are just plain fun.

Yeah the speak is really underrated. You can get some screamin' leads out of it, as well as some giant basses!

Man, love your Mojo on these, thank you for all the fun videos you produce. Request slash challege: can you make a PO ( with other noise maker if need be) sound like an electric guitar? Thank you!
@FreeBeat3 жыл бұрын
Glad you like the videos. I'm not sure about creating an electric guitar type noise, outside of sampling one on the 33. The pocket operator is definitely have a heavily synthesized sound.

I’ve done it before my looping the po32 through a bass distortion pedal. It’s a $500 Darkglass pedal but I’m sure there’s cheaper alternatives. The pedal has multiple inputs and outputs so I was able to feed it back into itself.

Man, thanks guys,for getting back to me! Missed those… Cool Thomas, I will look for something like your pedal, but more affordable. Huck some feedback around!

Is the speak set up as Master?
@FreeBeat4 жыл бұрын
Technically yes, but I'm actually not syncing the two devices. The NTS-1 is just providing the effects, as well as the few sounds I play in real time from the keyboard. I just ran the audio out from the Speak into the audio into of the NTS-1, and then ran that into my recording interface. Thanks for watching!
