Hmong culture is so weird! Parents cannot take their daughters back into their household and do jingle bell for them. But I have heard of parents that adopt Laos children, do jingle bell for them and take them into their family, last name and customs. Why is that acceptable for someone that isn't even Hmong but not acceptable for a daughter that has returned home? Can someone explain this to me?
