NTT Ltd. launches new hyperscale data center park in Navi Mumbai

NTT Ltd. in India announced the launch of its new hyperscale data center campus in Navi Mumbai with the first data center - NAV1A. This takes NTT’s data center footprint in the country to 12 facilities, with more than 2.5 million sq. ft. (232,258 m2) and 220 MW of facility power, further strengthening its position as the market leader in India in this segment.

Very soon , NTT will be number 1 company who will be providing data center hosting , private cloud hosting , system integrator for network & security , apps , web , software company in India. Only foreign company in India who has invested 2 billion dollers ( 15,000 crore rupees ) in 2020 under FDI. Mahape data center is just one part of it. By dec 2024 , NTT will be having 17 data centers in India and all are connected by DCI.

Electrical ya Mechanical engineering background needed for operations role. CS/IT background guys are generally taken for Network/ Cloud Computing roles. Diploma/B Tech karlo electrical mein phir kisi facility management (OCS, Compass, CBRE, JLL) ya Utilities company (Tata Power, Adani etc mein experience Lelo. Phir yaha apply karo.

Get full knowledge regarding Data Centers, Safety Standards, Commissioning practices at Data Centers and Learn specifically regarding Mechanical or Electrical side whichever you are interested in. Understand how the LOTO systems work and start working at IT companies that have Data Center at their space. Later on once you get good amount of experience you can join such hyperscale data centers. I hope this helps.
