This condition is characterized by bleeding after birth, which contributes to about 25% of maternal mortality in Uganda. Our reporter has been investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 37-year-old Lucy Aluka, a victim of excessive bleeding after childbirth. Lucy was buried in Serere District.

PPH in caesar is 1.5L and in normal delivery it is 1L

Correction Mr PPH is 1L in C/S and 500ml in SVD. You would rather remove the uterus rather than someone deing. 😢 RIP PPH is a number one cause of Maternal Deaths in Uganda
