To save myself from worrying if I turned off my straightener, I take a pic of it when I get done. Then I can just check my phone! But then I have a million pics of my straightener lol. Also I really like the end results!

From the instructions you read it sounds like it means to say the screen "locks" 3 seconds after you've made your selections so that you don't accidentally change them when using it. Perhaps it doesn't actually turn off.

I love my 3 barrel styler, i feel like this is similar. I don't do so many sections (i have thick hip length hair) i will only have a bottom half and go across that split length not thickness (left and right half) then I'll do the top half again splitting length ways rather than thickness to thin a section. Makes it less puffy (if you dont want puffy) and quicker.

I style my longer hair like this by French braiding when wet, wearing it for a day or overnight & when I take it out of the braids it’s nice and wavy. I touch up my roots and tips using a mini wave crimper I have 😊 …I’m not in a humid climate tho so that helps prolong the style a few days

I can get pretty much the exact same effect with my hair straightener! It's really difficult to explain via text but is actually really easy, probably faster, and much better on your hair as you don't need to keep the heat on your hair as long as you would with this product. Ironically, if I actually wanted to do a styled yet dishevelled look I'd alternate doing that technique, using the straighteners to curl my hair, and plait then flat iron the braid to speed up the post plait wavey hair process. Combining all of them just creates a really fun look that (very ironically) recreates how my natural hair looks now that it's actually healthy!

This is a criminally gimmicky device. I can get the exact same look by putting my hair into two French braids, let it sit while I sleep, then take out the braids in the morning and barely "fluff" my hair. Cool, you get it done "in only five minutes" but that's not a true statement in the first place and you heat damage your hair to oblivion. I guess I'm in the minority for liking the slow method but I'd rather do something that makes my hair look nice two days in a row (or more!) than spend at least an hour using this device on my hair for results that make my hair crispy and probably won't last through one shift at work.

The Results are more like Putting Braids in your damp Hair over night. It looks a bit mor organic and natural than a deep Waver/ Crimper.

Does this thing really work is what brought me to your channel many many years ago. I really am not sure what takes you so long to crimp your hair because I do mine willy-nilly and can go through my hair quite quickly, mine is not as long as yours though. Now curling my hair I do take longer. I use a lot bigger pieces though when I am doing something like this to my hair and I don’t generally comb each piece I feel like I get a more uniform look if I don’t does that make sense?

The safety features of this styler product definitely get in the way of its functionality. This one definitely needs a more thoughtful design compromise between the functionality and the safety features. Safety features should never compromise functionality. When they do, why bring a product to market? I don't think you made any mistakes here. I believe it was the device's safety features that got in your way.

I crimped my hair, and extensions, for years Then used them as straighteners, as straighteners hadn't been invented, yet Obvs, as soon as they were, I bought a pair, and continued my half quiff, top pony, with long, long blonde hair, perfectly matched to my own, which was bleached, but they mixed white, a little blonde, and a smidgen of ginger, which always alarmed me, but worked! I was an original goth, but could not rock black hair.... I'm 55, now, and giggle 🤭 when I see all the goth shops, we had to improvise, use a LOT of black clothes dye, hang our crosses either upside-down 🙃, or the right way, on heavy chains, get asked if we were going to a funeral, daily, and beaten up, regularly, for being gay 🌈 Happy days 🌈😊☠️👻💔💫

that's what my natural hair does just letting it air dry. lol. The only thing I'll put in my hair after I shower is a bit of leave-in conditioner and I have a Keratin Detangler spray I use as well... I'll flip my head upside down after combing my hair and scrunch my hair when it's wet and then let it air dry and my hair will be loose waves that are trying to be curly but not. lol.

I love Bunny, she's one of my fave KZbinrs ever... but I have to point out that it's pronounced di-SHEV-eled, and it's not dish-SHOVE-eled. I'd let it slide but I worried about one of Bunny's young fans saying "de-SHOVE-eled" someplace and maybe getting teased, and I couldn't have that. Swamp family members gotta look out for each other!

Is it as heavy as it looks?? That thing is chonky, and looks like carpal tunnel waiting to happen. Otherwise, it's pretty! The effect reminds me of straight hair after it's been braided. Like "mermaid waves". And I definitely hear you on the humidity... Not worth the effort in TX summer. 😆💜

I personally think you need to put larger sections into it so the hair covers the whole plate, that way it may look more disheveled as the blobs inside are randomly placed, whereas if you put a small section in your missing the second bump so your getting a more uniform wave 🤷‍♀️
@kkittycatkat1990
@kkittycatkat1990 Жыл бұрын
Exactly! I was wondering why in the world she was taking such small sections. The device itself is huge so why would anyone do 1/8 inch sections? I think she isn't evolving with new ways to do hair, she's forever stuck using some pretty amazing tools & making them do exactly what her 2010 crimper did. These new tools can really make some beautiful hair, IF you learn how to use them properly.
