Probably just very low death metal growls? His ‘official’ vocal range is “…roughly 3.5 octaves”, making him a tenor in Opera language - personally I think he’s closer to 4 octaves - Roy Orbison range, but lower - yeah, that makes no sense, now I’ll have to find out. I’m sorry you’re losing the love of your life, that’s rough, especially to that vicious disease. Words from strangers aren’t always much help, especially mine, but I’m acquainted with that soul-destroying pain you’re feeling right now and there’s little I can say that will help ease it. Except to say, the happy memories will never fade, and mine go back over 30 years. ❤🇬🇧💙

I totally agree! I’ve not heard *anyone* replicate Gary’s tone and spirit like Tommy does. He has a true connection with his music and he’s a consummate perfectionist - he never half does anything, he always arranges his covers with every ounce of talent he possesses and plays straight from the heart. I’m certain that Tommy will be a big name within the genre for as long as he’s willing, and able to play. Gary's spirit is alive and living in Tommy. Gary came from Belfast and saw the effects of bombs and bullets on people. After serving there three times myself I understand what he sang about. It takes unbelievable skill and talent to channel Gary and Tommy has that ability in buckets. There's only one Gary and there's only one Tommy. Keep on rocking!
