I remember, mum mum made this spicy chutney, it tasted delicious but I was in pain all day, could not do anything, my stomach burned and burned. Nothing worked, so was in pain all Day. I love spicy food but could not handle it. I lost my tolerance as I went on a diet for 2 years, limiting spicy food and after that, I lost my tolerance for spicy food but slowly building up my resistance. If there was no consequences, I would eat spicy food all the time. Anyway, love watching you both, can't wait to see what amazing food you try next.

I lived in China and LOVE DSD. The ribs are some of the best in Shanghai. But guys!! You aren’t really supposed to eat the chilis in the laziji! Just pick out the chicken pieces. You are brave and crazy! I love it.

My hottest thing was atomic fire wings at a local wing place.They actually warned me that they were HOT !!! I could only eat 5 of these medium size wings and cold beer did little to faze the burn .Kudos to you on your spicy resolve to eat all that.Great video would like to see more of this type

The green vegetables in the dish with bacon are not green beans, but actually garlic shoots. 蒜苔. It’s not very common outside of Asia or Asian grocery stores. Crunchy and tasty!

Hottest dish ever for me was something that British Indian Restaurants used to cook (although it's not so easy to find nowadays......) - Bangalore Chicken Phal. Maybe it's been outlawed by the Geneva Convention or something (!!). That was a while back, but a couple of years ago I was in a small, friendly Indian restaurant in Warsaw, Poland. The owner warned me that this curry (a Madras if I remember correctly) was really spicy....he was not joking! It burnt so much I couldn't finish it,, but fortunately my girlfriend's son likes extremely spicy stuff so it didn't go to waste. Maybe it's a side-effect of getting old, but I (a) can't eat as much as I used to eat and (b) can't eat extremely hot and spicy food any more.
