I always found it funny that the "General" in the Live Action scenes is wearing the silver bar of a 1st Lieutenant (O-2). Generals wear silver stars (up to 4 on their collars) and 2 inch wide gold stripes on their shoulder patches plus 1 thin gold stripe for O-8thru10, (1star-BrigadierG, 2star-MajorG, 3star-LieutenantG, 4star-General).

1:55:10 The DMZ level was my favorite due to its non-linearity. Even after managing to beat it, I would replay it over and over to get the best results. This guy's playthrough is very close to mine. -- The biggest key in that mission was getting as much done before picking up Andrea. Deploying all tanks, supply trucks, rearming infantry, turning signpost by MLRS. -- If those are done, the only bases that will need saving is the A-10 from the western scud (can be redirected to hit south tunnel), the MLRS from eastern SCUD, and the centrally located heavy weapon/supply base from the tunnel commandos and a tank attack. All other command, scud and flanking tank attacks will hit empty bases.

@@rlouie05 Yes. As long as the troops are positioned the same way as the video, the only weak points are on the eastern half of the map. Sometimes the Bradleys (eastern) can get overrun if not protected by landmines on the road. And even with the signpost and Abrams at position 3, there's occasionally a lone tank that somehow finds its way near the southern edge of the map. One thing I do differently is destroying the western tunnel with the reprogrammed SCUD. That saves an artillary shell for tunnel 3 (rather than using the drill). -- Also making sure that ALL of the pillars on ALL 3 roads are knocked down. That plus the fuel depot destroyed really slows them down. After the A10X runs out of fuel, just for fun, I drive one of the MLRS to cover the armor entering from the east. -- The Abrams, Bradleys and Infantry on the western half (if deployed the same way) rarely need protecting. So the only weak points are the eastern half.

@@matt_canon Getting everyone in place before Andrea is picked up is key, plus charging to the left SCUD is always paramount. The fuel truck and generator to seal 2 more tunnels also minimizes future headaches. Those M1s are money when put at their best spots. Bradleys in the east side get killed fairly quickly even if I get the MLRS to fire towards the east as much as possible. Even with that, towards the 10-20 minute phase of the battle, there's always one or 2 enemies that get past the lines of defense to where I have to charge across the screen to get them. The ROK spy, night vision, the 1000-rocket ammo (bad programming), and that red-create exploding missile ammo didn't seem to help that much. Wonder if these things & driving the smaller vehicles was in preparation for the Future Strike game that never happened (that cop game is a farce). Is it possible to play the battle to where all of your friendly vehicles survive without cheats?

​@@rlouie05 The nightvision just makes everything green and harder to make out, so I avoid it. The ROK spy is mainly helpful if one doesn't already know where the tunnels and ammo/fuel depots are. I usually get the 1000 rockets when I'm waiting for Andrea to exit the eastern tunnel with the drill, as I find them more effective than the regular ones. I was playing it today, and I dropped landmines on the central southern edge road to get the 2-3 units that somehow get find a way to get past the allies. Keeping the eastern bradleys alive usually comes down to me protecting them after the northern road pillars are knocked down, though it means not being able to fly to western corner to get the A-10X. The Abrams and Infantry (upgraded) don't seem to take any losses that I know of, and the western M2 Bradleys are a bit behind. "plus charging to the left SCUD is always paramount" -- Yes, immediately after picking up Andrea I make a beeline to the landing pad for reprogramming the SCUD. If she's dropped off and picked up quickly enough, there's actually time to fly south and kill the sub forces, then tunnel commandos, and then the bus infiltrators near the MLRS. Then I hit the eastern SCUD and if time the central one. (If the central SCUD launches, it hits an empty infantry barracks). At this part the armor flank attacks on Kitty Hawk and Liberty Bell happen where things get the most hectic depending on how many missles, fuel, and armor (played on normal).

As a long-term STRIKE fan, I just found out this month how to redirect a SCUD with Andrea on that mission. You can dispatch her on the western SCUD location and she will divert the missile on the tunnel north of the A-10 base. I have always listened to her quick info on this mission that she could use a SCUD missile but never figured out since timing is key on DMZ if you want to save every allied base.

So for Peace Strike, 1:11:08 was to stop the 4th APC for Mission 2, where the 1st APC could be followed & have a road barrier rearranged so that it drives into the power plant in the southwest instead, the 2nd APC can be destroyed by a boat that you untie into a bridge around the middle of the map, but for the 3RD APC, besides stuff like dropping a gas can on it, shooting a gas station when it passes it, getting a train to run it over, shooting down a power pole while it drive next to it, or basically shooting it yourself while losing some armor, anyone find the unique special way to get the 3rd APC?

Have someone figured out what differences does the DMZ have whether you let mobile radars go during the Pyongyang mission? There are three passwords to the DMZ mission depending on your previous mission: BUSAN (no mobile radar escaped), MACARTHUR (one mobile radar has escaped), SABERHIT (all mobile radars have escaped). So far I have tried them all but the result makes no difference at all.

Soviet Strike, not this one. You rescue him, take him to some kind of outhouse, then he does his business. Afterwards, you get rewarded with a special weapon crate upon the outhouse blowing up.

If I remember correctly, hold down both bumper buttons until the vehicle self destructs, only works on vehicles that aren't your start helicopter, that or only works on ground/sea vehicles.
