@@arvindshastry1178 I heard it was because the band was so burnt out from constantly touring and recording without breaks, that their hearing wasn't recovered from the shows... so their hearing range was messed up and they turned the bass down too far.

The most intense concert that I've ever been part of. 3rd row and was stuck in the pit until song 5 or 6 and had to go upstairs. I was separated from the dude I went with during song #2. They sound exactly the same way live. Incredible!

I grew up on 80s thrash but as the years went on my tastes changes and I got into other styles of music. Recently I've started revisiting the music of my youth and checking out their newer stuff and I am FLOORED at how well Overkill is still bringing the noise compared to a lot of their peers even with lineup changes. I've been a fan of these dudes since before their first LP's release (ya gotta love "bootleg" stuff...it was running rampant in the early eighties. A lot of bands and artists back then would record as many cassettes as they could then hand em out at shows, on the street, and to anybody who'd take em, etc, etc...that's how I heard a hell of a lot of music for the first time.

Love that song since its release in '88. Saw them live in germany, supporting Slayer. And in 1990, also in germany, on the "the years of decay"-tour.
