Marko is one of those musicians that it won't matter what he decides to do, he'll always be loved. He may have found much worldwide recognition as the bassist in Nightwish, over the last 23 years (his first album with Nightwish and my discovery of him in 2002 after Century Child was released), he's always amazed me with his talent both vocally and on bass.

This dude is literally the only reason I bought a Bass guitar and started learning to play it. I started on 6-String because it was Emppu who originally most inspired me to learn. It was only after 2 years of that which I started to learn enough to really notice the Bass and Marko is awesome to watch play. I eventually decided, maybe I do want to try to learn to play that as well. I bought a fairly cheap bass because I didn't know if I would like it or if it would help me over-all. I hoped it would give me a way to mix things up but still progress my over-all ability on 6-String... I didn't know if it would or not but I've been thrilled to find out that it very much has done that. Now I love playing both of them. I just got off 5 months straight of practicing nothing but Bass and Marko Hietala is the entire inspiration for that. I'm incredibly thankful that he was. I have to admit I was excited to see this drop and I'm not disappointed. This guy is a Legend in my eyes and the inspiration I've gained from his art is something I'll be grateful to him for as long as I live. Nothing has ever given me the joy that Guitars do. 🥰🥰 I only hope Marko is happy and keeps doing what he loves because what he does has changed my life for the better and I've never even met the man... Much Respect 🤘 and of course... Skål! 🍻

Wieder ein Hietala -Hammer Song. Marko hat es einfach drauf. Ich kenne ihn leider erst zwei Jahre und habe mir alles angehört. Er hat unfassbar viel Musik gemacht. Ich habe noch nicht ein Stück gehört, was mir nicht gefiel, ein absolutes Ausnahmetalent mit einer unvergleichlichen Hammerstimme. Zusammen mit Tuomas, unschlagbar, wobei ich seine jeweiligen Bandmitglieder auch super finde. Ich bin glücklich, diese Musik,🎵 dank🙏🏼KZbin ständig hören zu können. Toll, toll, toll. The landscape seemed so Spanish that I had to give it a try and find out where it was recorded. I'm 99.9% sure it was recorded at Cehegin, Murcia, Spain, maybe from El huerto de Maravillas accomodation, and I would say it was filmed last August, when Marko performed at Leyendas del Rock in Villena, Alicante.
