Their style is definetly similar, but I definetly think that both are very unique in the actual way of singing. But since Timo and the others from Oceans mention a lot of Nu/Alt Metal Bands as influences on their music, I wouldn't be surprised if Jonathan was an inspiration for Timos vocal style.
