L. πέρασαν διάφορες φάσεις με αποτέλεσμα να ενώσουν απο πολλους διαφορετικούς δρόμους το melodeath με τη heavy και την power και ως ενα βαθμο το ίδιο έκαναν οι Amorphis λιγοτερο και οι Opeth με ενα διαφορετικό τροπο. Αν σας αρέσουν αυτά τα περάσματα στα ειδη δείτε και τους Theatre of Tragedy. Και με εναν άλλο τροπο ( με πιο άγριες διαθέσεις και πιο κοντά σε In flames ) βρίσκονται οι Moonspell και λιγοτερο οι Trivium.

Popped up on my Spotify for their newest release Sun and the Cold, really loved it until hearing Polaris. That lick on Polaris about a minute into the song is beat-for-beat Katatonia Old Hearts Fall... it put a new light on the rest of the album. After another few listens it's starting to sound more derivative than a balance of originality and homage (for Insomnium, Amorphis, Ghost Brigade and Katatonia), just can't shake it off now. Got high hopes for these guys if they can continue adding some originality (the vocalist is great, tight performances from all members, and the production is killer)
