We built their base camp in Xuan Loc. 27th Cmbt. Engr. Batt. '66-'67. I was in the first squad that got there. Nothing but jungle.

They used Roman Plows to Pioneer. when they could obtain them from the 27th. other wise just as shown. I went all through that stuff. rock & roll.

The reason I ask is that the images i see its hard to believe that there were even any black soldiers in Vietnam at all

@@petersheppard4963 my dad talks about the war still sleep walks at nite being in war tells me that was war BK in the day jungle nothing but trees bushes traps live wire now just a desert u can see 50 feet in front of you .he said fight my war can't see 10 feet in front of you a sniper
