Yikes, congratulations baby doll! I hope your feeling more happier these days. I just found out I was pregnant with my husband today and he was just as shocked as me but not an excited shock; but a not so happy overwhelmed shock…. He hasn’t checked on me all day since he left at 10 am and didn’t come home for lunch either….. 😕 I also told one of my closest friends and she started criticizing me and told me that I will be a single mother like my 1st pregnancy 13 years ago…. She always finds negativity in any good or beautiful news. We dropped eachother as a friend today.

My husband and I have been trying for months and all I had was negative pregnancy and chemical pregnancy (2 times in a row). I felt so heartbroken and lost hope. I felt making baby with him becomes a business so we tried to relax and never expect. Last week my period was late for 7 days and my husband kept telling I could be pregnant. I've also noticed changes to my energy level and so I took a test, not really expecting anything positive. TURNS OUT IM PREGNANT! It seems real that things start to happen when you least expect them :) Im on my 6th week and Im very happy Im getting strong pregnancy test line and my doubt of chemical pregnancy again is gone. I implanted early as I got my positive exactly on the 3 week mark. I’m currently 6 weeks now and am so excited for what is ahead! Don’t have too intense of symptoms luckily and nausea is pretty much non existent unless I bend at the waist lol. My bras/bikini tops definitely don’t fit properly anymore and I’m needing to pee every thirty minutes, but it’s worth it! 😁🤰🏻

I felt pains around my nipples anytime my hand touches it and lost of appetite so my husband conducted both malaria and pregnancy test on me and we realized I was pregnant, I was very happy to know we would soon have a baby, planning with my husband what name to give it, asking my husband not to touch my stomach because I don't want my baby to be hurt, one faithful morning I was alone because my husband had left for work,he works in a different district. I got up early did some laundry and there was a heavy rainfall that day,only for me to finish washing and went to have my bath and I saw some blood in my undies so I thought it's the usual spotting,I laid down and some minutes later, ooh my God, blood started running all over my laps to my foot. I called my husband since he is a health worker and he told me we lost our 3 weeks old baby just like that,I thought my whole life was coming to an end, That's how I lost my baby and up till now I still wonder the cause of the miscarriage. I pray God blessed us with another one.

My fiancé and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years and it was always a disappointment. Negative tests. We thought we couldn’t have kids and for me I didn’t think I was able to become a mom. I felt less of a women myself. I’m 20 years old. And very emotional so I went into depression. But then recently I took a test and it was positive. Never lose hope. It always happens when you least expect it trust me. It takes time for a lot of people so don’t bring yourself down. I pray my baby is healthy and I hope everything goes well

You’re a kid! I’m sorry you feel that your identity as a woman is based on your ability to carry a pregnancy. Lots of women choose not to have kids, or cannot have kids. This doesn’t make them less of women. Please remember that it’s important to nurture your own identity apart from being someone’s mom. You’re 20, maybe time to focus on your career? I’m 36 and put my time in before I had my first at 33. You have plenty of time, this is not a race!
