Cute hair! Though I'll never understand why everyone thinks shorter hair is less work - I just put my long hair in a bun and forget about it for the whole day. No need for styling or worrying about baby gripping it. But - maybe I'm just too chicken to do the big cut. All the best for the race (or limp?) to the finish line, and the beginning of the great new adventure ❤️

Oh in my experience it's more work having short hair. I have very fine hair and would have to wash every morning to get rid of my bed hair with short hair... even if I washed it the evening before. Won't go back to short hair anytime soon.
@SamWest962 жыл бұрын
I had both through the first year of my daughter's life and I will go back to short hair with future children. Mostly because I felt like I always looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge and for me post partum hair meant gluey straw hair. I went full pixie! She's now 18 months and I'm growing it again. I prefer long hair but it was definitely the right choice to go short. I suppose it depends on hair types and how we're comfortable looking
@Harrison_J_T2 жыл бұрын
As someone who has had mostly short hair I agree that it's not always low maintenance, depending on the cut. That said, and I'm just being curious, I've never gotten the point of having long hair if you just tie it up all the time. I'm not judging, when I had long hair as a teenager it was very often up in a ponytail but that's also part of why I cut it off. I guess what I'm asking is what about having long hair makes you hesitant to chop it off? Low maintenance short hair cuts do exist (trust me, I'm very lazy, haha) so aside from that is there something about long hair you prefer? If you don't have any answer that's fine too. I hope you get this is just curiosity and not bring judgemental, I'm not very good at phrasing things sometimes.
@Zolpi_2 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on the hair, when I cut mine into a long bob it's a lot easier to deal with. Then again, I don't do anything fancy with it, ever. It's just a lot easier to wash and dry shorter hair. And my hair is on the thicker side, so rinsing shampoo when the hair is long is just annoying.

Love the short hair on you Hannah! Also I totally get the weirdness of having an extreme change in length to your hair! I'm one of those people who has gone back and forth like 50 times between wanting long hair and completely hating it & everytime you reach to touch your hair it's like an "oh" moment of it not being where you expected it... It's kind of exciting like you're realizing it over and over... Though I guess if you hated your haircut that would be a bad thing lol

I have been blessed that most of my life I haven't been a particularly sweaty person. While pregnant, I would sweat at the top of my thighs where my bump touched. Also literally everywhere else all the time. I was in the winter working at a ski resort at 10,000ft elevation and still sweating.

Wow, the haircut is such a big change! I donated mine in Feb 2020. The original plan was to have it short for a year or two, then grow it out again. However, since I ended up going almost a year without a haircut, so am currently still enjoying the short hair. Will probably start growing it out some time in 2023.

@SomeoneBeginingWithI2 жыл бұрын
flapjack is usually just oats mixed with butter and golden syrup and then baked. Sometimes people put dried fruit in flapjacks but it's not necessary. I don't know if there are usually oats in trail mix, I thought trail mix is just dried fruit, nuts, and m&m/smartie type candy that's chocolate with a sugar shell.
