Joe ‘Kenedy’ Willock! He hasn’t been good since 2020/21 when we signed him on loan & he pretty much saved us from relegation that season! Defended well,apart from their goal,but zero output in the final third. If we don’t adequately strengthen in January,then this season is going down the toilet.

As much stick as Wilson gets for his injury record, if we are struggling to put the ball in the back of the net, he is somebody who has consistently scored for us (albeit not normally against the top sides). I wonder if the contract situation is affecting Isak but tbh he doesn’t deserve a new contract the way he is playing right now.

I think trippier being out is a big miss. I like Tino but I think the experience, leadership, decision making, passing and set pieces from Trippier should not be underestimated.

Basic school boy error, Eddie very well knows Isak is coming off an injury and to start him and play the full 90 mins was asking for too much, also starting the players like Bruno and Gordon straight after the international was not happening, osula should have started and isak should have come in the second half, barnes, willock longstaff should have started, I'm starting to think Gordon is over hyped, and Eddie is getting away with basic mistakes like this everytime, Joelinton Bruno Scharr Isak and Murphy all look off, isak and Gordon are not match ready yet one on one open chance missed, I can just keep going on and on

I hate to be proven right but as soon as we qualified for CL we should of sold 5 or 6 of our players who we knew were not good enough. This would of bolstered our squad with better players, we wouldnt of had the psr bollox to deal with and would of probably had players who could adopt to more systems. Yes today we had possession but no killer instinct. Howe needs praise for the 1st 2 seasons but we need to open our eyes as a jose, klop or pep would of won these sort of games.

After chelsea and arsenal beat us without us scoring then it really will be time up and if its not then the club are abandoning their responsibilities. 450 mins with no goal from open play is unforgivable for any team in the league. Eddie has no excuses now. He shouldn't be trusted with any more money. Nearly scoring is not good enough, it doesn't win you points. Forget European places, 40 points looks a long way off when we cannot for the life of us score. Eddie out.
