Christian Braun has so far been a more versatile onball defender. KCP essentially got murderer when he was supposed to guard somebody bigger than 6'5 who was stronger than him. Nuggets Offball defense as a unit (Ie rotations, understanding assignments, communication) especially in the 4th qtr has been good for 3 years now. Warriors, Kings, Suns and Grizzlies will be better offensively against Nuggets while Wolves, OKC, Dallas, will be worse. The first group are more beatable than the second for the Nuggets.

Analytics hasn't taken away shots at the rim. Layups and dunks in the restricted area is the most efficient shot in the game. Analytics doesn't like long 2's. 17-22 foot jumpers are seen as inefficient shots. Why take a deep mid-range jumper when you can just scoot back and take a 3, its worth more. Ron acting like not going to the rim is just today's game is nasty. SGA, Luka, Fox, etc. There's plenty of stars that attack the basket
