No Murray either since he is a no show for the 52 million per year. Case closed, he's done and gone.

@@branislavdrinic3831 I understand the frustration from people with Murray. He’s usually our big shot maker and he’s not getting anywhere close to his level of consistency but he does bring good defense. But he won us a chip. He should always be respected in Nuggs Nation.
@branislavdrinic3831Ай бұрын
@CS105.1 And that's where we differ. He is living and making a living on things that were two years back, now consistency next to Jamal's name? Hell no. Lastly I do understand he was the 2nd best in the championship run, but like I said, that was two years ago. Time to show up for the new 52 million per year contract, and he hasn't done that for a long time. Carrying bad games since last years playoffs, into the Olympics, back to the regular season. Let's call it as it is, Murray is really undeeperforming and he's fat ass is out of shape. Case closed.

@branislavdrinic like I said I understand where you and others are coming from. He is 💯 underperforming for the money he’s making and for his ability of what he can and should be doing. But I don’t think trading him after signing him to an extension is the solution. Unfortunately the Nuggets and more specifically Calvin Booth has backed Nuggets into a corner we can’t get out of.

@@CS105.1 He should be let go, if the organization wants more rings. That if they're looking at that direction. If not, then it was a one championship run, a one year wonder where he was healthy, which unfortunately he is lacking too. And about the injuries themselves, they don't come if your body is fully fit. That's also one of the reasons his getting injured in the first place. That and no hunger to win more, sacrifice more, because that's what makes a champion in the end. Putting the time, effort, blood, sweat and tears into it. Jamal right now is the complete opposite what he was coming back from ACL injury, feels like he's giving up after he made the super max.
@CS105.1Ай бұрын
@branislavdrinic but who do you trade him for? And keep in mind whoever does get the trade and comes in has to work well with the rest of the team for it to be a successful trade. It could easily go from bad to worse with the wrong trade and Calvin Booth isn’t great with trades.

There is no true 2nd best player on this team. Sometimes it AG, MPJ or Jamal, it sucks that the FO has spent so much money on three players. The lack of idenity outside of Jokic is on the coach Malone he has been here for how long and the 2nd unit sucks, it begs the question is Malone a good enough coach if Jokic is out for an extend period of time.

Jamal is supposed to be the 2nd best. He's even paid as the second best but when you look at the stats, I would agree he's not playing at that level. We've haven't really seen him have the same drive for winning since the 23 chip. But MPJ has been consistent. Which is to say not horrible and not great. I think AG was set to have a big break out season before he got hurt. As for coaching, it shows how impactful Malone is with the team. I blame Calvin Booth for decisions more than Malone.

How high do you think of Murry as if he has Naji's salary...not 52m a year...take into account how Ingram played these 11 games...and the pelicans don't want to give him a max contract...think then

I understand the frustration with Murray. He breaks my heart every time he throws bricks or loses the ball but defensively he does help. I know it's not enough for what he's paid but he does add to the lacking defense of the Nuggets.

The takeaway isn’t that joker is a mvp we already knew that the takeaway is this a g league team without him and it’s embarrassing for them because they have an all time talent and they’re wasting his greatness with these garbage cans😢

It's strange how the Nuggets have a very similar starting line up and yet the only one who still has the championship mentality is Jokic. Everyone else just kind of gave up.
