now i knew A S is the worst T6 Ship in all situations. With new updates for Shadow, A S can't 1vs1 with it . All of the ship's stats have improved significantly. X-3 isn't stronger than Ody. but with speed and agility( smaller ), it has become a formidable opponent. anyway YOU KILL ME :'

i know i'm quite late, but this is incorrect. A-S is faster than all other t6s, and also has a powerful pulse which fires a lot faster than the x-3's, as well as being a lot smaller. It's also only a t6, so it's a lot easier to get. And a good A-S can definitely 1v1 an X-3.

​@@elitestar963 Not sure about that. It's definitely good, but it's not actually that great. A skilled condor will beat an a-speed almost every time, and a-speed is far from being a fast miner. It's popular among skilled players, mostly because they like high-speed ships with large pulses. It's the same reason why marauder, another quite bad ship, and the speedster class in MCST (especially the Contraband) are very popular. I would argue that going for either the Condor, the Advanced-fighter or the Barracuda would likely be better for your team than A-speed. Condor because of it's strong combat and mining abilities, plus having a very good path of ships upgrading to it, AdvF because of it's massive power and ability to upgrade to ody, plus strong ships at tier 3 and 5 preceding it, though the t4 isn't good, Cuda because of it's strong preceding ships, both for combat and mining, depending on the path you go, and it's massive usefulness against t7s. A skilled Cuda is pretty much the only counter to Ody+healer other than doing it better. Of course, scorp blows everything else out of the water, upgrading from strong ships, being very powerful, and upgrading to ody.
