dope video! i bought me a numark party mix n was very disappointed when i scratch n let my hand go off the jogwheel, theres a slight delay/pause and the song continues playing, so i ordered the dj2go2 touch a few days ago. cant wait for the 2go2 touch to arrive! keeping the numark party mix for the mixer/eq

lee I have the partymix too. I did a video on it. The wheels are the lightest wheels in the world. The eq helps though.

are there any settings that let you stop the jog wheel not for stopping the track but only for te pitch band (+ -)? like the hercules starlight , that removes the vinyl mode.

Thanks for your attention to details with the job wheels ☺. I used to dj alot in the early 2000's w/ 1210's, a Rane mixer, and an SL2 box. In the last 5 years I wanted to pick it back up for fun and found the original dj2go2 but didn't use it much. Now I'm looking for another controller now that is similar in size and simple functionality but would really love to have the full capacitive jog wheels but also some really simple eq and/or assignable fx knobs. Have any other controllers been released that have this?

Great video comparing the two. I need a bit of help though. I'm thinking to get my first DJ controller. It's either the DJ2GO2 Touch or the Party Mix. I'm leaning towards the DJ2GO2 Touch because of its form factor, but the absence of line faders worries me. Is it a big deal they these only have a cross fader? Would the Party Mix be a better choice for starting out?

It is nice to have line faders. Just having the knobs can be a little off putting.

Can you take vinyl scratch mode off the jog wheel of the dj2go2 touch? I liked the jog wheels without scratch on the dj2go2, but i didn't like the fact that you cant turn off sync. If they made a dj2go3 it would be good to add a vinyl mode button to switch it off, some eq's, a filter and trim. Even if they made it a little bit bigger, it'd still be small and portable, and a good one for any beginner.

NO way to turn it off. They made the side of the wheels for the nudging. It's another reason why I like the Hercules starlight. it has the vinyl button.plus the bass/filter knob jus made it so much more useful for being just slightly larger. As far as a dj2go2 3,it wouldn't surprise me if they make one. If there's one thing I know about Numark is that,like Hollywood, they love sequels

Just got the touch to have fun with my daughter , but the jog wheel is limited. As to be expected. But is the Starlight any better?

I personally think the dj2go2 is a better unit than the partymix. Even though the platters are smaller on the dj2go2. They’re more responsive. I’m grateful for the watch too thanks.

Hello, can I take my song to the DJ Serato lite in wav, with some sample, then start to play the song, make some scratches with the sample on this DJ2go2 and record them separetly, then make a sample from this scratch in wav., which I will take back to my software ? I expected it is not compatible with MPC beats.. Or is it ? Thank you.

Serato can play and you can scratch .wav files. You can use the output of the dj2go2 to go into your recording hardware input. If you want to record in serato lite itself you can’t. You need to purchase serato dj pro. Once you have serato dj pro you can pick your recording file format type (aiff or wav) and 16 or 24 bit depth. I hope this helps.

@@ZoderCZ the dj2go2 is only for serato use and not for MPC beats. Building on what I said. You would take a cable coming out of the master output of the dj2go2 and plug that into the input of your recording pieces of hardware that does use mpc beats and press record there. I’m not familiar with any of the Akai units that use mpc beats though.

I used a setting inside the software. Under the settings go to the mixer tab and there I’m the Crossfader section there’s a Reverse button. I hope that helps and thanks for the watch.
