algoriddm djay supports a number of different controllers which you can find on their website. But it also has a MIDI learn feature so you can map out your controller to the softwares controls.

There is in fact a Mixtrack Quad that was announced at Musikmesse 2013. No official release date yet.

There may be DJ apps available that allow MIDI Mapping or include a MIDI Learn function, but this is something that would not be officially supported. One of the main things that would prevent you from being able to do this is that the Mixtrack Pro 2 does not have a power supply, so power will be provided by the device/computer you plug it into. Most Tablets will not be able to supply the amount of power needed for this device to work properly.

No. The Mixtrack Pro 2 is a MIDI controller that can only be used in conjunction with a computer. An MPC 500 is a portable production tool with samples and a sequencer.

I'm going to purchase either MixtrackPro or MixtrackPro2, and I've seen in alot of reviews that most features are basically the same of both hardware devices, but I actually like Mixtrack Pro's interface because it looks more kinda serious if you get me, and I also wish to use Traktor Software. The biggest difference is that the Mixtrack Quad is a 4 deck controller and the Mixtrack Pro 2 is a two deck controller.
